We have had a roof replaced, garage built, old front porch pillars replaced, leaking chimney removed, and now a complete remodeling of our bathroom after 30 years. Paul and his crew Dave, Josh, and TJ have been fun to work with on all these projects. I'm a DIY and have learned a lot watching them. I recommend Paul' company. He won't be the cheapest bid, but it'll be done with quality. And they clean up every day...an added bonus. They came highly recommended and we've not been disappointed.

Paul Shively was recommended to us by a previous customer who had a roof replacement and was very happy with his work. I had not been a member of Angie's List until that day and joined after calling Mr. Shively. I called and left him a message of my needs and he called back within 30 minutes. He stated he would come by and look at the job in approximately 1 hour in which he did. He then acquired the necessary shingles to match and completed the job the same afternoon.

About a year a later, there was leaking around the chimney. Shively came out several times until he fixed the problem properly. No problem since. Then 2 years later, a couple of shingles blew off. Again, he came out promptly, fixed the problem, again all of this with no delay and no extra charge. The original work that Shively did was in 2009.

I have used Paul Shively 3 or 4 times to re-roof our garage and a detached garage. All of those projects went fine. What I really like about Paul is that anytime we have had a minor problem between jobs, such as shingles blowing off, a leak around a vent, etc., he has always been very prompt to swing by and get her fixed up. I would definitely use him again.

It was a painless experience from start to finish. I had several estimates and Paul Shively's was competitive. We had had several leaks he examined those areas. He made several valuable suggestions. One of which was to install 6and quot; gutters which helps to handle both the snow melt and rain far better than our smaller gutters.(The gutters were installed by another company). His crew showed up on time, worked well together and did a great job. The roof looks great and after a rough winter and wet spring we see no problems with it.

They provided an estimate at about 2/3 the cost of another estimate, and there were no increases in the final bill. The work was done on schedule, old shingles were removed, and the work site was very clean when the work was completed. They also replaced the roof mounted attic fan at no additional cost even though that was not included in the estimate. One year later when there was a small leak in the garage roof during a rain storm, I called them about the leak. They arrived the next day and corrected the problem. Seven years later the roof still looks great, and there have been no problems. I am very pleased with the quality of the new roof, and would recommend their services.

We've got a pretty steep roof and it became leaky about a year after we bought this house. Paul came out and immediately fixed the leak with a temporarily solution but the roof was a mess overall. They came back within a month or two to replace the entire roof.

Paul Shively came out to look at my roof because I was having problems with the roof leaking. My insurance company stated that nothing was wrong with my roof, but when Paul came out he stated that some of the shingles were installed improperly. Paul Shively was very kind and likable. He gave me a detailed proposal in a folder with three proposals one for a complete new roof, the other for just the repairs of the roof, and the other for repair to ceiling damage.
